Let's look at the impressions we had from this edition of Ecomondo, a fair full of opportunities for Green Transition.
Ecomondo 2024 was a benchmark for innovation in the sustainability sector. The event, which took place in Rimini, brought together experts, companies and institutions from around the world to discuss the latest trends in the circular economy and waste valorization.
The fair hosted a rich program of conferences and seminars, which precisely featured internationally renowned experts.
Among the most discussed topics were:
Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability;
Circular economy and bioeconomy;
Sustainable finance.
This edition was really full of enthusiasm and valuable relationships. Thanks to SustainMe, EconomiaCircolare.com, DesignTech and Esedra, we at Innovation System were able to further solidify our collaboration by talking concretely about tangible actions that can be taken to move in the direction of all-round sustainability.
The impression gained by our Co-founder Elena Lazar is that the value of the ties, which began again last year and is being carried forward, allows them to “contaminate” each other to pursue unitedly the same goal toward climate neutrality.
There was a lot of food for thought on materials recycling, as well as AI in the service of energy efficiency.
The talks organized by SGR Energy Efficiency allowed us to be able to see that we are pursuing in the right direction.
Also very interesting was the work being done in waste disposal and the reuse of waste from it for production efficiency.
Another area that is booming and in dire need is water network management, where Elena was able to “touch base” with the great work that various companies are doing with a view to optimization.
We found a great openness for partnership even from multinational players, and this gives hope that large and small can join forces to advance the common goal for a better world and not just a world in which to produce wealth!
Ecomondo thus confirmed its role as a reference point for the circular economy, attracting visitors from all over the world. The presence of numerous institutional delegations underscored the growing importance of environmental issues globally.
