We experienced with much excitement the workshop held in Milan last September 5 reason why we were pleased to share with you some hot thoughts.
Last week we had the pleasure of attending the workshop, where we participated both as speakers and audience members, “ECODESIGN AND DECARBONIZATION: measuring and reducing impact” at CoFactory Designtech in Milan.
We engaged with other experts in the field and shared our experiences on topics such as sustainability and innovation.
Together with our partners, we discussed the growing relevance of ecodesign and decarbonization, emphasizing, for our part, the role of System Integrators and the implementation of IoT software to optimize business processes, make their facilities energy efficient, and reduce their environmental impact.
What we learned?
LCA and Carbon Footprint as key tools: we delved into the concept of life cycle analysis of a product and understood how these relationships can help us assess the ecological footprint of a product throughout its life cycle, from design to disposal.
The value of recycling: we discussed the importance of designing recyclable products and how this can help decrease waste generation and conserve natural resources.
Energy focus: we talked about how companies and organizations can reduce their energy consumption through data collection and analysis, and how this can lead to greater efficiency and cost savings.
Sustainability and competitiveness: we discovered how a sustainable approach can not only reduce environmental impact, but also improve the competitiveness of companies, making them more resilient and attractive to consumers.
The workshop atmosphere was electrifying and inspiring, providing an exchange of ideas and best practices. We returned home full of enthusiasm and with a renewed awareness of the importance of doing our best every day.
We are convinced that for decisive decarbonization, various forces must come into play working together.
As a system integrator, we are committed to supporting businesses in their digital and green transition to innovative and efficient facilities with our cutting-edge technology solutions, thanks in part to cooperation with our partners SustainMe, Ecoesedra, Leba 1974 e Pininfarina.
